Olamide Harrison is an economist at the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF, where he works on monetary and macroprudential policy issues. Prior to that, he was the desk economist covering macrofinancial issues in Denmark and Finland within the IMF’s European Department, and prior to that, covered a variety of sectors as desk economist for the Czech Republic and Croatia within the same department. His research includes work on monetary policy and macrofinancial linkages. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester.
