Fatih is an economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. His research interests fall along the intersection between banking, finance, and macroeconomics. Some of the issues he has studied include empirical banking, monetary policy, financial crisis, financial stability, housing and mortgage markets, exchange rates, and corporate finance. He holds a Ph.D. from the North Carolina State University.
