Jessie Handbury

Jessie Handbury is an Associate Professor in the Real Estate Department at The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Her research interests include urban economics, trade, and industrial organisation. Her recent work, supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Wharton Social Impact Initiative, studies the role of product availability in household consumption and location decisions, as well as issues in inflation measurement. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University in 2013.
