Jacob Nell

Jacob Nell is a Senior Research Fellow at the Kyiv School of Economics, currently working on Russian sanctions and Ukrainian reconstruction. His previous experience includes 12 years at Morgan Stanley, including as head of European Economics, Chief UK Economist, and Chief Economist for Russia; six years at bp in strategy and as an upstream commercial director; and ten years at the UK Treasury, including two years in the Prime Minister’s office. He has also worked as an advisor in the Russian. Azerbaijani and Iraqi ministries of finance, and as assistant editor of the Central Banking journal.
