Guido Wolswijk is currently Principal Economist in the Monetary Policy Stance Division of the European Central Bank. Before that, he worked in the Fiscal Policies Division of the ECB, and in the Economic Departments of the Dutch central bank (DNB) and of ING Bank. His recent research has focused on effects of fiscal measures on housing finance, and the analysis of tax receipts in relation to economic growth and the growth of public spending.
