Francesca Monti is a professor of Economics at the UCLouvain (Belgium) and a visiting senior lecturer at King’s Business School (UK). Before joining King's in November 2019 and UCLouvain in 2021, she worked at the Bank of England for 10 years, focusing mainly on macro modelling and monetary policy strategy issues. Francesca holds a PhD in Economics and Statistics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and her research spans the fields of macroeconometrics, empirical macro and monetary economics.
