Ana Cusolito

Economist in the International Trade Department at The World Bank

Ana Cusolito is an Economist specialised in trade. She works at the International Trade Department of the World Bank. During her career Ana has conducted analytical work on international trade, technology adoption and innovation. In particular, she has examined the effects of trade policy barriers on product diversification, the impact of non-tariff measures on exports, the role of technology adoption as a source of comparative advantage in trade, the effect of tariff liberalisation on vertical and horizontal innovation, the trade consequences of WTO accession, and the impact of competition, intellectual property rights protection, and knowledge spillovers on innovation. She has experience working for the Latin America, Africa, Europe and Central Asia regions. Before working at the World Bank, she worked at the Integration and Trade Department of the Inter-American Development Bank.
