Alessio J. G. Brown is an Economist at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and Kiel University. His fields of specialisation are employment and unemployment, labour market policy, reform of the welfare society, specifically employment incentives, unemployment accounts and employment subsidies. He has written theoretical papers on unemployment accounts and employment subsidies as well as policy papers on the practical implementation of these reform proposals for Germany.
