Raluca Prelipceanu

Raluca Prelipceanu is currently completing her PhD at the Sorbonne Centre of Economics at the University of Paris 1. The topic of her PhD dissertation is "The effects of migration at the household level. A microeconometric approach with evidence from Romania". She joined the Centro Studi Luca d'Agliano and the Collegio Carlo Alberto as a Marie Curie early-stage researcher in September 2008. She has formerly been a Robert Schuman Foundation fellow and has completed a research for the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She received her BA in International Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and her MA in Development Economics from the University of Paris 1. Her research covers issues on the gender aspects of migration, the effects of migration on children left behind and highly-skilled migration.
