Leila Baghdadi is currently completing her PhD in Economics at University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne.
In September 2007 she joined CEIS as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher. Her research interests include immigrant networks and assimilation, immigration policies and their effects in the host countries.
She worked as consultant for the World Trade Organization and International Trade Center in Geneva, where among other she conducted research on international trade in services (with a special focus on mode 4).
