Born in 1976 in Hungary, studied history and economics at the Debrecen University and the College of Szolnok respectively. He defended his thesis the "Economic Impact of the European Integration on the Netherlands. A Quantitative Analysis of Foreign Trade and Foreign Direct Investments" at Utrecht University in March 2006. He spent 6 months as post-doc researcher at Lund University and is currently employed as post-doc researcher at the University of Warwick in the English historical national accounts reconstruction project.
His main areas of interest are: economic development, growth theory, human capital, international economics and econometrics.
