Kirsten Labuske is writing her PhD thesis at the University of Tübingen and is currently a pre-doctoral fellow of the Marie Curie Research Training Network at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Her research concentrates on three themes related to
patents and innovations in Germany in the pre-WWI and interwar period: Human Capital, International Trade, and Foreign Direct Investment.
