This project is the first European-wide Research Training Network in Economic History (UEE RTN). It started in November 2004 and will run for four years until October 2008.

It brings together researchers from seven different European countries and nine academic institutions, for the first time in Europe, to analyse the continent's economic development since the Middle Ages. The participating departments range from economics to history and civilisation. Aiming to develop a truly European economic history profession, this network is an excellent opportunity for young researchers to start their career in this field.

The UEE RTN is supported by the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme under the Marie Curie Actions, Contract no. MRTN-CT-2004-512439. Click here to find out more!
