Electronic Discussion Papers

Click if you'd like a list of more general FAQs

In what format are electronic Discussion Papers (eDPs) available?

eDPs are available as Portable Document Format (PDF) files compatible with Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or above.

What do I need to read electronic Discussion Papers (eDPs)?

All eDPs are Portable Document Format (PDF) files.  To view and print PDF files, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 (or a later version).  Your Internet Browser may already have the Adobe Acrobat Reader as a Plug-in.  If you do not have it, it is freely available to download from http://www.adobe.com

Can I list CEPR Discussion Papers in my Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)?

Yes, you can list our papers in your OPAC system. You can do this in one of two ways.

You could link to the abstract listing of each paper (which also contains a link to the PDF of the paper) using the URL http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/dplist.asp?dpno=xxxx where xxxx is the number of the paper, i.e. http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/dplist.asp?dpno=2345 would link to DP no 2345. This method is preferable for subscribers who authenticate via login ID and password. If, however, you authenticate via network number, then you may choose to link direct to each PDF using the URL http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/showdp.asp?dpno=xxxx where xxx is the number of the paper, i.e. http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/showdp.asp?dpno=2345 would link to the PDF for DP no 2345.

Can I have both Site Authorisation (Domain/IP Address Authentication) and Login ID/Password Access on the same subscription?

No.  Like the National Bureau of Economic Research, we do not support Login ID/Password access for accounts with Site Authorisation (Domain/IP Address Authentication).  You must choose one or the other authentication method: only one method will be available for a given subscription account.

Can we establish a direct link to the page from which we download electronic Discussion Papers?

You may link to the listing of a discussion paper using the following URL http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/dplist.asp?dpno=xxxx where xxxx is the number of the paper, or link directly to the PDF version of the paper using the URL: http://www.cepr.org/pubs/new-dps/showdp.asp?dpn=xxxx where xxxx is the number of the paper.
