Global Economic Institutions
(GEI) The Global Economic Institutions
(GEI) Research Programme is a research programme
funded by the Economic
and Social Research Council of Great Britain.
The purpose of the programme is to study how
existing global economic institutions and regimes
operate, and how they might be improved, and
whether new institutions are needed. Ten projects
began work in 1994, a further six began in 1996,
and activities include a number of workshops and
conferences. The Programme will run until 1999.
Networking services are provided for the
programme by CEPR.
