This project aims at deepening the debate on infrastructure reform and regulation in India,
by making available European experience in this area.
The target groups for the actions are
policy makers, regulators, civil society and communicators concerned with infrastructure in India,
at both national and state levels.
The project focus is on reconciling private participation, increased competition and widened access and its main activities are to contribute to regulatory, political and analytical issues in infrastructure sectors based on the past experience of EU member states.
The Centre for Infrastructure in Regulation at the National Council of Applied Economic Research
(NCAER) has been working on infrastructure related issues for the past few years and is the nodal
agency to organise the research and the outreach programme of this work.
