The positions are granted within a Marie Curie Research Training Network on "Transnationality of Migrants. Enduring ties with the home country and integration in the host country (TOM)" funded under the EU's Sixth Framework Programme "Human Resources and Mobility".

We look for:

Early-Stage Researchers (ESR)

Must have less than 4 years of research experience since gaining a university diploma giving access to doctoral studies.

Experienced Researchers (ER)

Must have 4 to 10 years of research experience since gaining a university diploma giving access to doctoral studies.

Candidates

  • Must be nationals of an EU Member State or Associated State.
  • Nationals of Third Countries are eligible if they have legally resided and have had their main activity in the EU for more than 4 years out of the last 5 years immediately prior to the starting date or within the limit of 30% of the total number of funded person-months of the whole network

Transnational Mobility

  • Must not be nationals of the country where they seek employment, or have legally resided or have had their main activity in that country for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the starting date.
  • Nationals of an EU Member State or Associated State who seek employment in their country of origin are eligible only if they have legally resided and have had their main activity in a Third Country for at least 4 of the last 5 years immediately prior to the starting date.

Salary

  • The gross salary for the ESR is up to 45.000 €/year*
  • The gross salary for the ER is up to 60.000 €/year*

* including up to 400 €/month of participation expenses to be spent for network related conferences and training activities.
