Ana has done her undergraduate studies in economics in Bucharest. In September 2002 she joined the Tinbergen Institute's MPhil program and one year later she started the research for her PhD thesis at the Erasmus University.
Ana's current research interests include: the economics of networks, games of network formation, microeconomics of banking, contagion and financial crisis, risk-sharing in microfinance."
