Prominent
Spanish Banker Takes Over as Chairman at CEPR
Prominent
Spanish banker and economist Guillermo de la Dehesa takes over as
Chairman of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. De la Dehesa is
Director of Banco Pastor and Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs Europe. He
succeeds Anthony Loehnis who, during his decade as Chairman of the
Centre, led a major expansion of the CEPR’s activities and funding.
The Centre is now a network of 500 economists from Europe and the United
States, and over the past decade it has gained the support of all the
European central banks, and the Corporate Membership Programme launched
by Loehnis has attracted over 50 members.
