New Chief Operating Officer Appointed

In October 2003, CEPR appointed Mr. Vivian Davies as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr Davies joined CEPR from the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), a policy research NGO, where he had responsibility for overseeing financial, administrative and fundraising operations; managing the programme and project portfolio; and coordinating project funding proposals. In addition, he was responsible for developing strategic partnerships with international bilateral and multilateral agencies and foundations. His experience in identifying and securing funding, coordinating international networks, and managing grant administration and fulfilment has already made a substantial contribution to the operations of CEPR and the services provided to its researchers.
